Job Description

• Santin Auto and Truck Repair Center located at 9822 Perrin Beitel Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78217 is looking for Diesel Technicians and Auto & Truck Technicians to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, dependable and reliable.

Responsibilities

DIESEL MECHANIC -inspects, diagnoses and repairs diesel powered vehicles and machines, like trucks, forklifts and trailers.

AUTO & TRUCK TECHNICIAN -inspects, diagnoses any required work. Tech will then then discuss all required repairs with service advisor. Once repair is approved by customer, the technician will then repair or replace any components needed to safely get vehicle back on the road.

• Examine cars based on customer statements and determine appropriate repairs needed
• Present and explain estimates to complete repairs
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, checking fluid levels and rotating or balancing tires
• Replace or repair worn parts as needed.
• Maintain your work area clean.

Qualifications

• Experienced Auto Technician 3+ years.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of tools and equipment being used to repair vehicles.
• Strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• ASE certifications a plus.
• Able to diagnose issues with vehicles.
• Gas or Diesel experience.
• Have your own Tools.
