Americare Behavioral Health provides clinical supervision to support employees in meeting licensing requirements as they work toward full licensure.
This service ensures that staff receive the guidance and oversight necessary to fulfill state-mandated supervision hours and professional development goals.

Americare Behavioral Health is seeking for a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Clinician to join our behavioral health team. This is a full-time position designed for professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families navigating mental health challenges.

In this role, you will provide direct outpatient therapy. You’ll work with diverse populations, addressing a range of emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns. Our ideal candidate values collaboration, professional growth, and delivering high-quality, client-centered care.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other clinicians, case managers, and program coordinators to ensure that each client receives comprehensive and coordinated treatment. Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy.
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and agency standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders is highly desirable
• Knowledge of psychotherapy techniques and interventions
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and documentation standards
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally competent care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
