Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. Responsible for translating banking business objectives into functional requirements and designing future-state workflows for marketing automation.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with retail banking, credit, and mortgage teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

• Conduct workshops and interviews to capture detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for banking-specific marketing campaigns.

• Document current-state processes and design future-state workflows for marketing automation tailored to financial products.

• Work closely with Salesforce Marketing Cloud developers and architects to design scalable solutions integrated with core banking systems.

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, KYC norms, and data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) in all marketing initiatives.

• Define data models, segmentation strategies, and audience targeting rules for financial customer journeys and coordinate UAT.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 4–6 years of experience in Business Analysis or Marketing Technology roles within the BFSI domain.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including modules like Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.

• Strong understanding of SQL for data segmentation and familiarity with APIs and integration concepts for banking systems.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
