Position Overview: The Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at an assigned location. This stable and specialized role requires consistency, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring that the assigned facility remains clean and hygienic. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine cleaning tasks at the assigned location, including but not limited to: * Gather, empty trash, and replace liners in trash bins. * Clean floors and baseboards by sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming. * Dust vents, office furniture, equipment, sills, wall-mounted objects, etc., as per schedule. * Keep areas stocked with supplies such as paper products, soaps, etc. * Clean and sanitize areas such as restrooms, exam rooms, offices, break rooms, etc. * Clean high touch points such as glass, chrome fixtures, phones, etc. * Request supplies as needed to ensure that all necessary materials are on hand. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of janitor storage areas. * Ensure buildings are secure by locking doors and turning on/off alarm systems. * Notify the manager when a building requires minor repairs. * Adhere to specific cleaning requirements as detailed for each location. * Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the site manager. * Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to company standards. Skills and Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. * Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks. * Strong time management skills. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team. * Meet insurance requirements. Work Environment: * Consistent work location. * Routine work schedule, typically fixed shifts. * Familiarity with the assigned facility and tasks. Physical Demands: * Routine standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50lbs). * Must be able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks. * Limited travel as work is site-specific. * On feet for entirety of assigned shift Reporting Structure: * Reports to one Zone Supervisor or Lead Technician. * Works with other cleaning staff at the assigned location if location requires.
