We are a family owned and operated new car dealership and are in immediate need of an experienced Collision Center Manager. The ideal candidate should have a complete understanding of the day to day collision repair duties including estimating , production scheduling, parts ordering and meeting deadlines and cycle times.
Responsibilities:
-You will be required to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to the overall operation of the department including risk management, teammate development, client metrics, production and administration.
-You will be responsible to recruit, recognize, train and retain talented teammates, monitor current financial performance metrics and review prior months metrics to identify opportunities and trends.
-Conduct daily morning production meetings to focus on goals for the day to meet production commitments
- Ensure that DRP accounts are properly managed and good relationships are maintained.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes.
- Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the collision center. Report at weekly managers meetings.
- Oversee and maintain all parts orders, returns and credits.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for necessary parts and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of Collision Center Management.
-Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
-Advanced understanding and knowledge of current repair processes and procedures.
- Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers
