The Division of Finance and Administration (DFA) provides services and support to over 50,000 students, faculty, and staff with the mission of advancing UCI's brilliant future and the vision of becoming world-class campus partners. Responsibilities:

Provides professional level analytical and technical support on a variety of projects related to the University sustainability efforts. Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Working knowledge of environmental sustainability and policy.
  • Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
  • Proficient ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze, research, and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiar with all software applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Access) and database applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training


Driver's License:

  • Required to hold a valid drivers license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.


Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of U.S. Green Building Council rating systems.
  • Knowledge of sustainability concepts and practices, including LEED systems, climate action plans, food service systems, procurement, and waste management practices.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $31.42-$40.00 (hourly).
