Location: E 92nd St, New York, NY 10128
Compensation: Starting pay $17/hour, Potential for Growth | Part-time or full-time, depending on need
Reports To: Cafe Owner

About Daily Sprouts Café

Daily Sprouts Café is a new health-forward coffee and food concept opening soon on the Upper East Side. We’re building a warm, wellness-driven space centered around sprouted grains, quality coffee, and nutritious, sustainable ingredients. We’re currently in the pre-opening phase , which means every day brings new and exciting challenges.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Executive   Assistant to the Café Owner — someone smart, proactive, and dependable who can help with various tasks we prepare to open. This role is ideal for a quick learner who enjoys variety and problem-solving. You’ll support the owner in every aspect of café setup and operations such as hiring and onboarding new staff, researching and communicating with vendors, scheduling cafe employees, assisting with payroll, and other tasks as they arise.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires

  • Help organize employee documents/files and restaurant permits/licenses

  • Support café license and application submissions

  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers

  • Track invoices, payments, and payroll documentation

  • Help develop staff schedules, checklists, and systems

  • Conduct research on equipment, vendors, and menu items

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support

  • Anticipate needs and take initiative — be the right hand to the owner
