**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable general production worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks within a warehouse environment, including lifting, carrying, and moving boxes of files and materials. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently with computer systems for data entry purposes. **Responsibilities** + Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs consistently. + Bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. + Use a computer for data entry and track orders. + Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks for transporting materials. + Use step ladders and read location labels for order processing. + Utilize RF scanners and proprietary computer systems to determine box locations. + Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for long periods. + Proficiency in data entry using computers. + Experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings. + Ability to read, write, and speak English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Shrink wrap experience. + Pallet jack experience, electric/manual. + RF Scanner experience. + High School Diploma. + Military experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers full benefits, tuition assistance, and safety protection including PPE. Enjoy a quiet workspace where you can listen to music. The schedule runs from Monday to Saturday, 7am to 3:30pm, with a lower expectation on Saturdays. Employees receive two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch break. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
