IHOP - Host / Hostess

What will we ask of you?

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and a genuine \Welcome to IHOP!\
• Seat our guests promptly at clean and sanitary tables
• Accommodate guests with special needs and provide assistance as required
• Manage wait lists during busy periods
• Know the menu to assist guests with to-go orders
• Enter guests' orders accurately into our system
• Deliver food and beverages to outside and delivery guests in a timely manner
• Handle guests' checks and payments accurately
• Maintain the overall appearance of the restaurant by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Stock and rotate supplies in the host areas and dining room
• Comply with all regulations and IHOP service standards for a clean and safe workplace
• Adhere to IHOP uniform and appearance standards
• Complete the IHOP Academy Training program

What physically must you be able to do?

These physical demands may be required of you:

• Expect to be on your feet for the majority of your shift
• Carry up to 25 lbs. periodically throughout your shift
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and stretch for cleaning and maintenance tasks
