Role Summary
Mission-critical Data Center Manager to lead 24x7 operations, infrastructure reliability, security, vendor orchestration, and compliance across enterprise data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive 99.99% uptime for servers, storage, network, power & cooling
- Own incidents, change control, disaster recovery & escalations
- Lead vendors, MSPs, and cross-IT collaboration
- Ensure audit readiness & security compliance
- Manage capacity, deployments, migrations & hardware lifecycle
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years managing enterprise or government data center operations
- Proven team leadership, vendor coordination, and DR ownership
- Data Center Infra (Dell/HPE/Cisco UCS, Racks, Blades, PDUs, UPS, CRAC/CRAH, HVAC, Power & Cooling Redundancy)
- Storage (SAN/NAS, NetApp/EMC/Pure)
- Network (VLAN, Routing/Switching, Firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet/Cisco))
Virtualization/Cloud (VMware/Hyper-V, Azure/AWS) - Tools (ServiceNow/Remedy, Datadog/SolarWinds/Zabbix)
- Frameworks (ITIL, NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001)
Nice to Have
- ITIL, CDCP/CDCMP, VMware or Cloud certifications
