  • About Facility:
    • Total of 15 beds for inpatient unit, but this is a multispecialty facility where they also have outpatient clinics on site for Ortho, therapy, pain management, podiatry, inpatient/outpatient surgery, etc.
  • Unit Information:
    • Beds: N/A
      • Could see 80-100 patients per day, but will only have to register 20-30
    • Minimum Years of Experience required? At least 1 year experience with admissions/registration in a clinic setting
    • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
  • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
    • This is a clinic at the facility. Patients are supposed to register at the main front desk before coming to the specialty clinic
    • Will see mostly orthopedic and sports medicine patients, including for surgical clinic visits
    • Will not be required to work the main front desk
  • Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.):
    • High school diploma or GED
  • Skills required:
    • Patient check in, admissions, registrations. Verify patient arrival, confirmation phone calls (for appointments), pre-registration to verify information prior to arrival, provide patients paperwork to fill out.
    • Traveler will spend a good amount of time on the phone, so must be comfortable with that and have good phone etiquette and customer service
    • If comfortable with scheduling and have done it before, will allow them to do here, but not required

    • RTO: to go through manager
    • Shift times: 0730-1700, Monday - Friday

    • Scrub Color: Black outer layer (black cardigan or solid black dress shirt, no denim, business casual pants, closed toe shoes)
