Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Zoox is responsible for advancing Zoox's policy and critical government affairs priorities through external engagement and advocacy with federal, state, and local elected officials and policymakers, regulators, and first responders. The team leads internal cross-functional collaboration with departments within Zoox, including Safety Policy and Strategy, Communications, and Legal, which are critical to obtaining and maintaining the regulatory approvals required to test and commercially deploy autonomous vehicles in dense urban environments.
The Policy and Regulatory Affairs Intern will have the unique opportunity to work with the Policy and Regulatory Affairs State Team, supporting the deployment of the Zoox robotaxi and leading independent policy research and analysis on autonomous vehicle state-level regulations.
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $5,500 to $7,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
