JOB SUMMARY

Kilwins is Chocolates, Fudge, and Ice Cream store in city of Woodstock in Cherokee County. We provide an amazing atmosphere that our customers will want to visit again and again. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Production & Sales Associates to join our team. Training will be provided for inspired candidates.

Duties will include working in our storefront kitchen preparing our handcrafted confections such as fudge and homemade caramel products like brittles, caramel corns, caramel apples and more! You will create hand-crafted products following approved recipes and methods using artisan tools and techniques. The candidate must be comfortable greeting and interacting with customers.

Production Associates will be involved in cooking made in store products using Caramel & Tempered chocolates. Suitable candidate should be able to stand for 5 to 6 hrs during working, should be able to lift 50 pound and should have interest in cooking.

Sales Associate will be involved in sharing made in store products with guests along with Ice Cream, Fudge, should be outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic, should be able to engage with guests and educate them about products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Personally represents Kilwins Core Values, Core Purpose, Core Operating Standards and Brand Promise

2. Provide integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values and purpose of Kilwins Brand

3. Makes product following Kilwin’s approved recipes, monitors supplies

4. Follows proper sanitation / health department regulations for food handling

5. Quality control

6. Sets production schedule for production team members

7. Trains new production employees

8. Inventory control of made-in-store and dry goods/ingredients used in production

9. Introduces approved products to retail mix and monitors performance

10. Works with owners to control costs, production associate management.

11. Greets and interacts with customers

12. Answers customer questions and makes sales suggestions

13. Gives samples of designated items

14. Properly stores products

15. Restocks product displays

16. General cleaning of production area; dust, sweep, mop, and wash windows, empty garbage

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

1. Assists drivers when deliveries are made

2. Puts away, rotate stock. Helps update prices

3. Cleans/polishes manufacturing and production equipment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY

1. Ability to work well with others, listens well and follows direction

2. Must be customer service oriented, with good personality and manners

3. Must read and speak English and have good communication skills

4. A flair for product design and artistry following the latest trends and customer demands preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Previous production/cooking, sales experience helpful, but not necessary

2. Ability to follow directions/instructions during training period

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be able to lift 50 pounds

2. Must be able to stand for long periods of time in retail store environment

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour including Gratuties
