Job Title: RN PreOp/PACU

Location: 100 Pioneers Medical Center Drive, Meeker, CO 81641

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift: Day Shift

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Pay Details:

ONLY LOOKING FOR TRAVELERS I.E. MORE THAN 65 MILES AWAY FROM THE FACILITY’S ADDRESS AS PER THE DRIVER’S LICENSE

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):

• Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $70.00.
• Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,520.00.
• Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $35.39.
• Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,274.04.
• Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,245.96.

OR

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:

• Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $73.00.
• Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,628.00.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PreOp Registered Nurse with strong Circulation and PACU skills to support orthopedic and general surgery cases. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN looking for a consistent day schedule with no call and no weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate for orthopedic and general surgery procedures.
• Provide PACU care and post-anesthesia monitoring.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff.
• Maintain patient safety and sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Accurately document perioperative and recovery care.

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license (REQUIRED).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (REQUIRED).
• OR Circulation experience.
• PACU experience preferred.
• Experience with ortho and general surgery cases.

Schedule & Benefits:

• Day shift only.
• No call.
• No weekends.

• Shared 2 Bed / 2 Bath apartment.
• No pets / No smoking.
• Estimated costs:
  • $700/month (private).
  • $350/month (with roommate).
