Duration: 1 Year (Contract)
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions to meet organizational needs. The role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in software development, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Customize and configure Salesforce applications, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
Develop and maintain system integrations between Salesforce and external platforms using APIs and middleware tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce performance, configurations, or integrations.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user manuals.
Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices; recommend and implement improvements accordingly.
Participate in code reviews and adhere to established coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
Minimum 4+ years of experience as a software developer.
1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
4+ years of experience with the .NET Framework (3.5 or higher) and IIS (7.5 or higher) .
Proficiency in T-SQL and experience writing complex queries.
Experience developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) .
Strong background in C# , MVC , XML , and WCF/REST/WebAPI for web application development.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Prior experience working with public sector organizations or New York City agencies is a plus (not mandatory).
