Position Title:
Senior Instructional Designer-HR Talent Development & Learning-Mount Sinai Health System-Full Time-Days
Position Summary:
The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of system-wide annual regulatory and compliance training required for all employees, regardless of role. This includes e-learning design, instructional design, content development, and instructor-led training. The role involves close collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to ensure training content is up-to-date with industry regulations, organizational policies, and applicable laws. Strong project management skills are essential including stakeholder coordination, version control, and ongoing maintenance to ensure timely and compliant rollout each year.
Responsibilities e-Learning Design
1. Analyzes storyboards and other documentation and make recommendations for proper interactive and development strategies
2. Designs and develops self-paced trainings using sound instructional design principles
3. Develops and programs AICC and/or SCORM compliant HTML/HTML5 based e-learning using industry leading authoring tools such as Articulate 360
4. Works with and creates custom graphics in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
5. Offers innovative, creative solutions
Education Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in related field required. Master?s degree preferred. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
Experience Requirements:
Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, XML, Sharepoint

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $87692 - $131538 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
