Position Summary:
V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking highly experienced and politically astute candidates to serve as Senior Policy Advisors in Washington, DC. The Senior Policy Advisor will represent the interests of the District of Columbia Government, build strategic relationships, and provide policy analysis and guidance on federal and local initiatives impacting the District.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Government Affairs, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Certification: None required
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of government operations and legislative processes
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to conduct policy research and analysis
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with federal agencies, Congress, and local government entities
  • Strategic thinking and ability to advise on policy implementation

Responsibilities:

• Maintain productive relationships with the public, Congressional staff, government departments, and Cabinet-level agencies to advance the interests of the District of Columbia
• Represent DC Government and its interests, as well as DC-based non-governmental organizations and stakeholder groups
• Assist in conducting policy research, analysis, and programming on current and emerging federal activities affecting the District
• Provide direct support in federal affairs policy and relationship management to DC agencies, executive directors, regional staff, and leadership groups
• Advise on strategies to meet objectives related to policy implementation and intergovernmental coordination

Compensation:

Pay Range:
$53.89 Hourly
