Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wet Finisher for a concrete finishing team. As a Wet Finisher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of concrete quality are met. This position requires strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and a passion for working with concrete.

• Concrete Finishing : Apply finishing techniques to freshly poured concrete surfaces, ensuring smoothness, texture, and durability.

• Surface Preparation : Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and leveling them to meet quality standards.

• Tool Handling : Utilize power trowels, hand tools, and other finishing equipment to achieve the desired finish.

• Quality Control : Inspect concrete work for defects, ensuring that the final product meets project specifications.

• Team Collaboration : Work closely with other team members, including concrete laborers, operators, and foremen, to meet project deadlines and safety standards.

• Site Safety : Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.

Requirements

• Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction experience preferred.

• Ability to use finishing tools such as trowels, floats, and power trowels.

• Strong knowledge of different concrete finishes (e.g., smooth, brushed, stamped).

• Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications is a plus

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather.
