Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Advanced Support: Act as the top escalation point for complex ZIA/ZPA incidents, leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for outages, authentication failures, and performance issues.
• Architecture & Design: Lead the design, deployment, and integration of Zscaler for large enterprises, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles.
• Policy & Optimization: Configure and fine-tune ZIA (URL filtering, threat protection, SSL inspection) and ZPA (application access, ZPA Connectors) policies for security and performance.
• Integration: Manage integrations with Active Directory (SAML/SCIM), firewalls, SIEM (Splunk), and other security tools.
• Automation: Develop scripts (Python, PowerShell) for automating routine tasks, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and training to L1/L2 support teams and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Key Skills & Knowledge
• Zscaler Expertise: Deep knowledge of Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX), App Connectors , ZEN Nodes .
• Network Fundamentals: Strong understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and traffic flows.
• Cloud Security: Concepts like CASB , DLP , SSL Inspection , Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Troubleshooting: Packet captures, log analysis (SIEM), and diagnosing complex access/authentication flows ( Azure AD , SAML ).
• Automation: Scripting (Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with IaC (Terraform) is a major plus.
