Responsibilities

There’s no “day to day” in your job because every day is a new medium, a new message and a new chance to make brilliant creative, but here are a few things you can be expected to deliver consistently:

  • Trendspotting Pro: Keep up with the ever-changing social media landscape and pop culture references. Stay ahead of trends and incorporate them into your creative.
  • Copywriter Extraordinaire: Conceptualize, write, and produce engaging content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and beyond. Ensure all content aligns with brand personality and goals.
  • Brand Consistency Keeper: Work closely with social strategists and creatives to ensure quality and consistency in brand messaging across all social media channels.
  • Dynamic Storyteller & Client Whisperer: Able to write up, explain, and present ideas to client in a clear, succinct, and engaging way (with smart rationale to back it up).
  • Detail-Oriented Dynamo: Bring your A-game to every piece of copy, from punctuation perfection to channeling the brand voice. Your work ethic is as robust as your attention to detail.
  • Cross-Channel Perfection: One concept, so many messaging mediums — you’ll be a master at making an idea translate effectively and flawlessly across all marketing assets. You’ll work on everything from brand campaigns to organic social posts.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a copywriter who is both exceptionally qualified and a delight to work with, which usually includes:

  • Passion and Curiosity: An insatiable curiosity about social media trends and a genuine enthusiasm for creating fresh, engaging content.
  • Street Smarts & Book Smarts: A four-year degree (preferably in Communications, English, journalism or a related field), and 2-5 years of proven experience in creating social media content and brand campaigns (preferably at an advertising or interactive agency).We’re looking for a copywriter who is both exceptionally qualified and a delight to work with, which usually includes:
  • Good Vibes: Energy, a sense of humor, and an open and curious mind (yes, these things really do matter).
  • Communication Skills: You leave no room for questions or angst—you’re straightforward, you’re candid and, above all, you’re thoughtful and kind.
  • A Willingness to Travel: Some shoots and meetings may require travel. Hey, new places, new faces, new ideas — right?
  • Ai Ready: Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation.

Compensation Range: $66785 - $101085. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
