We’re hiring General Laborers with seafood experience!This role involves supporting daily operations through hands-on physical tasks, assisting skilled team members, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. • Order Pickers
• Shipping & Receiving
• Loading and unloading Trucks
• Scaling and cleaning Fish and Sea Food Products
• General Warehouse Labor Cold Environment

Compensation: $17.00 – $18.50/hr. (based on experience) What We Offer:

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday / 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM Fish Dept.
• Monday to Friday / 3:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Order Fulfillment Dept.
• Monday to Friday / 6:00AM to 3:00pm Warehouse / Loading and unloading

Location: Newark, New Jersey Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in Sea Food Industries, Knowledge of Sea Food Products, Freezer Warehouse Environment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be PC knowledgeable, with the ability to navigate basic computer programs
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in cold, wet environments for extended periods.
• Comfortable lifting heavy boxes, seafood crates, and ice (up to 50 lbs.)
• Standing for long shifts and working in fast-paced conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of workplace safety practices.
• Flexibility to perform different tasks as needed.

Product Knowledge

• Understanding of various fish and seafood types (fresh, frozen, shellfish).
• Ability to identify quality, freshness, and proper handling requirements.
• Knowledge of safe thawing, storage temperatures, and shelf-life standards

Cutting & Preparation Skills Would be a Plus

• Filleting, scaling, trimming, de-boning, and portioning various fish species.
• Using knives and seafood tools safely and efficiently.
• Packaging, labeling, and weighing products accurately.
