About SparkHope Automotive
SparkHope Automotive (formerly Hands of The Carpenter) is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering working, single mothers in the Denver Metro area by providing them with reliable transportation. Through our services, which includes automotive repair, routine annual maintenance, and vehicle placement, we help working single mothers overcome barriers to safe and reliable transportation.
Since our founding in 2003, SparkHope has grown from one repair shop in Jefferson County, Colorado, to operating from three locations and serving all seven counties of the Denver metro area. Our work is rooted in compassion, community, and empowerment, and we are committed to creating a cycle of independence for single mothers through reliable transportation. Every vehicle we repair or place supports these women in building a more stable future for themselves and their families.
Our goal is to continue expanding our reach and impact. We are looking for a dedicated part time Grants Manager who can help secure new funding opportunities from various sources and sustain existing relationships within the team to fuel the mission and growth of our organization.

Grant Research & Acquisition, Writing & Submission, Funding cycle management & reporting, Excellent Communication, Collaboration & Strategy

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in English, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· 3+ years of experience in grant writing with Demonstrated success in securing federal, state, and local government grants and private sector funding .
· Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and track grants in a well-organized manner.
· Familiarity with grant management software and databases. Direct experience with instrumentl.com is highly desired.
· Knowledge of funding trends , tax credits , appropriations , and legislative changes that impact nonprofit funding.
· Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to supporting underserved communities .
Compensation & Benefits
· $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
· Paid time off and holidays (pro-rated for part-time employees).
· Flexible schedule with the possibility of remote work with prior approval.
