Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatric & Adult Congenital Location: Cleveland, OH Schedule: Days, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. This role focuses on performing high-quality echocardiograms for pediatric and adult congenital patients, ensuring compassionate care and comfort for patients and families. You will also play a key role in education, research, and quality initiatives within our echocardiography lab. Key Responsibilities + Perform echocardiograms following IAC-approved protocols. + Complete reports in collaboration with reading physicians. + Teach echocardiography techniques and interpretation to Pediatric Cardiology Fellows, students, and families. + Participate in lab meetings, quality assurance, research projects, and educational sessions. + Maintain equipment per manufacturer, ODH, IAC, and JCAHO standards. + Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and motivating staff. + Comply with all PHI security requirements and organizational policies. + Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience + Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound Program. + Minimum 5 years of pediatric echocardiography experience. Certifications + RDCS-AE/PE or RCS required. + RDCS-PE or RCCS within two years of hire. + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA. Skills + Extensive knowledge of cardiac pathology. + Proficiency in pediatric echo studies and operation of all echo machines. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team. + Basic computer skills and administrative competence. + Passion for working with pediatric patients and families.
