Holy Cross Health earns numerous national awards, clinical designations and accreditations across a wide range of specialties for providing innovative, high-quality health care services. **Shift:** Rotating shift, 8 hours in one week and 16 hours the other week. **Summary:** Interprets and evaluates physician orders in order to prepare and dispense appropriate medications to patients at Holy Cross Hospital. Manages drug therapy of patients. Reviews, accesses and maintains patient medication records and profiles for allergies, drug interactions and therapeutic duplication to provide a consistent quality of patient care and appropriate drug therapy. Provides information to physicians, nurses, and patients. May assist in developing competencies for the department. Assists in the supervision of pharmacy technicians in distributive functions and departmental operations under the direction of the pharmacy operations manager and director of pharmacy. Performance demonstrates efforts to improve patient satisfaction, lower costs and improve quality. **Requirements:** + Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. + Current licensure from the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
