Who You Are

You’ve mastered classical SEO and evolved into Search‑Everywhere Optimization—winning traffic, leads, and customers across Google, YouTube, AI answer surfaces, and whatever emerges next. You eat technical audits for breakfast, craft content strategies by lunch, and present client‑ready roadmaps by happy hour.

• Speak both client and code – brief C‑suites and debug schema in the same day.
• Own retention – you measure success by satisfied clients, MRR expansion, and churn kept < 2 %/mo.
• Think AI‑first – you’ve tested AI overviews, AIO snippets, and prompt‑engineered content workflows. 
• Balance tech & content – site health, topical authority, and modern link/PR all get your equal love.
• Lead from the front – set strategy, mentor analysts, and push the team to the bleeding edge.

Problem to Be Solved

Clients need an SEO partner who can thrive beyond “10 blue links,” leverage AI surfaces, and drive measurable pipeline—while holding churn and satisfaction targets.

Core Responsibilities

• Client strategy & retention – Own 6‑10 key accounts; set quarterly OKRs; run QBRs tied to pipeline.
• Technical & content leadership – Lead audits, migrations, redesigns, content gap analyses, and authority building.
• AI & SERP innovation – Deploy tactics for AI Overviews, YouTube search, Reddit answer boxes, and whatever else might be relevant.
• Cross‑functional enablement – Inject SEO insights into Paid Media, CRO, and creative roadmaps.
• Tool‑stack excellence – Master Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Surfer, ClickFlow, and any AI copilots you introduce.
• Reporting & analytics – Weekly KPI Looms; monthly retention & CSAT dashboards for SEO Leader & COO.

Requirements

• 5+ yrs agency or multi‑brand SEO ownership with direct client management.
• Record of ≤ 25 % annual churn and ≥ 20 % YoY qualified‑lead growth across accounts.
• Wins on non‑Google surfaces (YouTube, Reddit, AI answer cards, etc.).
• Technical chops (indexation, CWV, structured data, log‑file analysis) & content expertise.
• Expert in Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Surfer, GA4, GSC
• Comfortable prompt‑engineering and leveraging AI for research, outlines, internal linking, QA.
• Clear communicator who simplifies complexity for C‑level and mentors junior talent.
